Mr Clean Magic Eraser should work, just dont rub too hard or it will start taking the paint off as well.
Could put acetone on a rag and rub the area lightly so as not to damage the paint.
Another thing that might work well is windex, spray on let set, then rub the area with a rag.
Good luck

I just dealt with this 2 weeks ago! Kids! ha! If the ball point embedded into the wood you will have to sand the wood down and repaint. But if it's just on the surface, which I'm guessing it's not since goo gone took the paint off, goo gone should have worked and I also use mr. clean's eraser sponges.

I've used hair spray to remove ball point pen ink from clothes but I haven't tried it on painted surfaces. Give it a try, at this point you have nothing to lose. If that fails try paint remover and repaint.

wood oil, like old english or a pencil eraser, then you have to go over the erased area with the oil, to restore your finish.
