if there are twins in your family, there is a chance. the mother provides the number of children conceived and the father provides the sex of the child.

There's really no way to determine an actual chance, although it is higher since there were twins in your family (the father of the baby has no effect on the outcome of twins/singleton pregnancy).

less than 50%

chance for having twin baby depends on the mother. if the mother had a twin in her family, or even herself is a twin, the chance is higher.

My husband's father is a twin (not identical). I don't have any twins on my side. I have identical twin girls. My husband's sister was also pregnant with twins.
