but how does he feel about abortion or gay marriage? That is all some people see, the only issues they care about, I can't wait to see how S 2766: turns out, "special committee of the Senate to investigate the awarding and carrying out of contracts to conduct activities in Afghanistan and Iraq and to fight the war on terrorism."

but he is against abortion and gay marriage. that is all that some look at. he wants to give rights back to the state an strip power from the suprme court. didn't we have a civil war over state rights? didn't the bush administration say state rights can't be allowed because they against the federal government? strange that repblicans favor state rights in matters of gay marriage, smoking and abortion, yet oppose state rights on marijuana. to those that say smoking bans are not a repub thing, research who has backed and influenced the bans.

I just ran across the article i posted below on crooksandliars.com. Even if I was a conservative, there is no way i would vote for this schmoe. He reminds me of the second coming of Bill Frist. Yikes.

I would vote from him, I'm from Kansas and actually know some of his family members!
I bet in the last election, John Kerry's voting record didn't stop you from voting for him. Did you look into his votes at all?
Are you gonna look into Hilary's voting record also, i bet if you did that, you'd find somethings you don't like there either.

He does not vote for silly liberal bills that have no chance of becoming law. That is a great reason right there!
