Casteism in India is worst than the racism then practised by S Africa. Under racism people of other races are subjected to discrimination whereas in casteism people of even the same race are subjected to disrimination, humility, torture and all brutality. In casteism people of lower castes ware not allowed any property and other facilities of life and assets like cattles, land, pucca houses, new cloths etc. The casteism donot allow education to the lower castes and all kinds of torture and humility is inflicted against them and ill defined even by the so kalled great fictious shastras. Racialism doesnot allow such brutality , insanity and such low grade humuility against anyone irrespective of racial diffrences. Under racialism atleast each race is allowed full freedom and dignified life within its circle. Racialism is better than casteism on many accounts notwithstanding the fact that it is second to casteism in its severity, insanity and brutality against mankind. The casteism has not attracted world's attention becouse its sufferers are almost caged and rendered voiceless and subjected to persistent most humiliating exploitation worst than that of the animals in the world. One can very well imagin the character and low category of those who are working days and nights to justify casteism to seek begaar (work without pay) from the unfortunate people and enjoy unconditional status, privileges and other facilities without doing any work. Contrary to this racialism donot promote begging as in case of casteism beginnig from uppermost level. Casteism allow begging in the name of God and extortion and looting on the pretext of another important aspect. Except few at top casteism ensure that almost everyone is exploited and humiliated either at this or that time. The conditions of those at the lowest ladders in the hierarchy devised by sinister minds and forces is worst than any animal. Casteism provides all rights to the sinister lustful characterless people to commit all crimes and rapes of women of the lower castes in hierarchy. The caste system have two option for the woman i.e either 1. To attain Sati-hood (self immolation) or 2. To become devdassi and allow to be raped by honourable devas (gods).

Castes in its present form is not centuries old but is the product of historical upheavals in Indian Society. Political compulsions at different times have helped to use it for stratification of society.

No, sense the ppl are all of the same race. It is actually a form of "class-ism" where people of certain classes are "locked" into that class for life. They are forbidden education, jobs, or even interaction with others above them in the "class/caste" system.

Yes. People who live in upper house belong to upper caste and people who live in lower house belong to lower caste. I think that this is a joke.

Cast were based on vocation, social-economic, with religious overtones.
Our race is Human but sub race are Caucasians, Negroid, Mongolian........
