the group was Blind Melon the name of the song oh man what is it all I can do is read a book to stay awake ....I can't think of it Look up the songs by Blind Melon see if that helps It is no Rain by Blind Melon that is it it is great it is sad about the lead singer who killed himself too he was good

I know exactly what song you are talking about and i think the band's name is Lemonhead or Blindmelon i think . It was a cool song .
Apparently the lead singer is dead now,he died of Heroine overdose.
