I don’t care if Native Americans, Jews, and blacks were killed, enslaved, or discriminated against. Maybe they deserved it. I wasn’t there so I don’t care.

I wouldn't say they DESERVED it. However, I'm kinda with you on the fact that we shouldn't have to appologize for something done by someone else.
I'll admit, true attrocities were performed in the past by white americans. But...I didn't do it. Do I agree with them? No. Do I condone them? No. Would I do them? Again, no. So why shoul I appologize? I know only as much about them as I can recall from history books.
Personally, I have never figured out why the Jewish community gets such a bad Rap. Hitler created a stir(I suppose he felt threat intellectually by them as a people). Then that stir was carried back to the U.S. I don't get that.
I know the Black community has cause for beef with with whites from the past,and...to a lesser extent, there is still an attitude of displeasurement held by a select few of backwards caucasions. But, to be brutally honest, wouldn't you admit that the Native American community has more right to outrage than does the Black community? Really, look at their losses vs. any other. They lost an entire continent and likely 90+% of their population. Yet, they(to my knowledge) don't create that much social outcry. If so, It still doesn't get heard.
As far as your statement that you "don't care". I truely hope you don't mean that outright. I'd prefer to believe you intended to say that you can't do anything about somebody else's actions from 40,80 or 200 years ago. To that I agree. If it's in the history books, I can't fix it. Though we should all learn from the mistakes made in history, lest we repeat them.

The media can not make you feel anything. If you feel guilty then it is you that feels it was wrong. There is a famous saying. If we forget our past then we are doomed to relive it. Also Learn from the past so that our future can be better.

Second part of you question. No one deserves to be killed enslaved or discriminated Ever.

I do not agree with you that media is reflecting past history. You are aware that 20th century was full of horrible events never seen during human civilization. Media hardly take into account this back ground history.
History is past and it is better to promote new world order. You are not responsible for those events cause of which is narrow mindedness.
