I have an old digit lock safe. The backup key was lost and it looks like the battery is dry so I am unable to open it. It has 200$-300$ in it. Any creative idea how to open it without spending the amount in it in the process?

it sounds crazy but if u have some way of proving it is yours u can take it to your local fire dept. and they can cut the hinges off. or take it to a metal shop to open with a plasma cutter

. get the model number, type of safe from the safe then do a search on internet find the makers email them or better yet call them ..they will have a work arround and possible ,probably the combo and the solution to the battery problem maybe you will save your safe for further use .also those that sell safes may know ...

All the above will work !! I too had this same problem but luckily my husband can DO anything. If he wasn't such a good guy he would be dangerous.. hee hee !!

I would definitely hit up your local fire dept. and have the hinges cut if it is the safe type that has the hinges exposed.

First you verify to work out if "secure-cupboard agency" continues to be in agency (which I doubt) in the adventure that they are, there's a danger that there is a list of the blend. then you surely start up calling each and every of the Locksmith shops contained in the area, and ask for tips about who might want to probable open this secure utilizing a Stethoscope or blow torch.
