sorry i wrote my first question wrong..
why are arteries located deep inside of the body cavity? is that because they are very important blood vessels which if it's cut by accident, it can cause fatal injuries or even death?

A lot of arteries are located deep in the body cavity including the mother of all arteries, the aorta. The testes are located in the scrotal sac so that the body can regulate their temperature safely. The sperm will not survive at body temperature and will not survive if they get too cold. So the groin muscles move the sac closer to or away from the body to regulate heat. (That's why fertility docs tell men not to wear "tighty whiteys" when trying to conceive).

Sperm production cannot take place at regular body temperature. So, having testes in the scrotum allows them to stay several degrees cooler than normal body temperature. The muscles in the scrotum can contract or relax to regulate the temperature of the testes.
