I kept getting the answer toothpaste and I was wondering if that does work, what do you do just leave it on over night? Or put it on like a facial scrub? What?

This is a BIG myth! When you put it on, the toothpaste dries out the skin around the zit and makes it very irritable. Use a real acne cream because toothpaste DOES NOT work!

ok, i think it depends and varies for different skin... i have an oily skin and i tried the toothpaste method but sort of regret trying...

coz it irritates it and make it worse... when i first apply to it, it feels cooling and mint but i think it's too mint for the skin... then the next day, the zit area that i apply on is red and my skin dont feel good...

my mum was saying that in the olden days, people use salt to brush their teeth and now toothpaste had replace salt... so in another word, u r rubbing salt into your wound if u use toothpaste on ur zit... that sound logical to me...

perhaps u wanna try on a small area 1st and see how's the result, it might works for u...good luck!

yes but not the gell type only the white like reg crest with out the whitner its a bleach and can discolor skin put it on the zit and let it dry it draws out the stuff that makes the zit it takes a couple times to work but works well. you can sleep with it on if you want to but i do it during the day and when it drys wash it off and reapply. better if used as soon as zit begins. bigger zits may take more applications.

I have heard that the paste not gel kind will get rid of the redness and swelling. But it doesn't totally get rid of it. Wash your face thoroughly then apply a small amount on the top of it. By the next morning you should see a difference.

Its a home remedy that seems to work as I've tried it.

It's supposed to work by drying out the pimple the way acne medicines do but i don't know if it actually does or not.

no, it just dries it out. it might even irritate it further if you have sensitive skin.
