please help me i dont know how to do this homework and i know ima so possed to do it on my own but i just got back to the school and i really need HELP this how the teacher wrote the problems transform (change)each of the following equation into y form and then graph them using two point y-form method. so heres number 1.)y-4x=-3 (2.)3x=2y=12 (3)3y-3x=9

1 y-4x= 3 add 4x to both sides y=3+4x then arrange y=4x+3

2) 3x=2y=12 is this written correct?

4)3y-3x=9 add +3x to both sides 3y=9+3x then divide both
sides by 3 y=(3x+9)/(3)... y=X+3

oh yah and for graphing which is the fun part i think

just use y=mx+b with m being slope and b being y intercept

locate the Y intercept and then apply the slope to it

slope= rise/ run remember for negative slope the Rise is really downward

In 1 y=5 and x=2. In 2 x=4 y=6. In 3 y=9 x=6.

Well, I can't really graph a function here, but I can convert the equations, and give hints on plotting.

1.)y-4x=-3
y - 4x = 3
y = 4x + 3

(2.)3x=2y=12
I suppose you meant 3x + 2y = 12. If so,
2y = -3x + 12
y = -1.5x + 6

(3)3y-3x=9
3y - 3x = 9
y - x = 3
y = x + 3

Now, plotting hints. I don't know what "two point y-form method" means, but I guess that it is to mark the y-axis intercept, and some other point of the line, then draw the line.

Choose, then, x = 0 and x = 1 (or other non-zero value you like), calculate the respective y-values using the equation of the line, mark both pairs (x, y) as points in the plane, then draw the straight line passing by both points. Repeat it for each equation.

1) y = 4x-3
2) Two equal signs? I'm guessing it's a mistake on your side.
3) y = x+9

Follow the y=mx+b method. where m = slope and b = y-intercept. Good day :)

it should tell you what y is
1. do whatever x is times four, then y - (the answer you just got) that is what y =. just follow that and you should b able to understand the rest ( i just did these a few months ago
