I used to. The real fact is that most people enjoy their favorite season because it is related to thier favorite sport/pasttime. Generally, Skiiers or snowboarder love the winter, while fisherman love spring and basketball players love summer, and hikers love fall. The best thing to do in winter is to find a winter pastime, even if it's playing cards with friends, or anything that you do ONLY in the winter. This will give you a little anticipation of Winter, and make it go by much much fast...

I would say it depends on where you are. I moved to California from Michigan where it is cold and dreary for sometimes 6 months. Now even though it's a bit cold (not compared to Michigan though really) I can still be outside, still grilling on the patio, the sun still shines, and you can ski or snowboards without runing the risk of freezing to death.

I always book a holiday near the end of winter, somewhere hot with a beach. So when winter arrives it'll soon be time to go away.

yes, theres nothing to do, everyones slowly running out of money after christmas, it's cold and the air is damp, it's very dull and grey outside, gets dark too fast, theres nothing open other than shops (which is no good if your skint)
i don't like getting out of bed as it's so cold and to top it all off you can guarantee my heating oil will run out so i have to wait about 3 days before the company i use can deliver more...then the bill is double from last winter!

Totally agree! I am from Chicago, where all you want to do is sleep and stay in the house until Spring/Summer comes back around

Not really. I can go skiing or snowboarding at some of the resorts in the area AND my birthday is today!!!
