Where do I start, is there a priority list someone may have? I feel a bit overwhelmed by selling moving and buying again all in less than a year. Should I just sell everything I own in a huge spring sale and start over?

When I decide to move I begin going through my current stuff and getting rid of stuff I do not need. Throw it away, sell it or give to Goodwill. So that it is not over whelming I try to get rid of at least one item a day. more if I'm on a tight schedule. My criteria is this. Anything useful, valuable, or has sentimental value I keep everything else goes. saves from moving junk I'll just throw out later. Get boxes and pack them as you go of things you do not need right away. I try to have a job wherever I am going. I visit in person or ask a proxy to visit and scout out a place to live. You can get, How to move lists, by looking at some of the major moving companies websites such as U-haul, Mayflower and others. Those may help you. Have a list on paper of what to do in hand, that will keep you organized and you will be less likely to forget something. Good luck. Take a deep breath and begin.

The first thing you need to do is find a job. Then you can find a place to live. A Real Estate agent will help you with the selling of your house. Only sell the things you can live without and keep things like your bedroom sets, washer and dryer.

First, contact an agent in the state you're planning to relocate to.

Glean information regarding home prices, etc.

Have that agent refer 3 agents in your area, to interview, to sell your home.

In doing this, you've establish a support group that will make your transition much easier and allow you to focus on the move itself and your child.

Only you can decide if it's best to sell everything or move it all.

Good luck!

Don´t sell your house, rent it. Start by making interviews to people who might want to live in it. Then look for good deals for houses or apts. in the city you will be living in.
Sell only what you don´t like and the very heavy things like fridge, washers and TV, and use that money for the movers.
When you go shopping for the things that you sold, look for the energy star items to reduce your future bills.
