I don't know if there is a name, but yeah... high frequency sounds (high pitched sounds) can be heard by kids (and even higher ones by dogs) who's hearing is better than adults.

high frequencies...I saw on tv they made a device that made high frequency sound that only kids could hear to keep them from just hanging out at stores..
