Look, people are saying that partisian politics aren't the way to go... okay, well, maybe you are partially right... I mean, I'd like to see some more parties in this country... but ultimately it's easier to establish lines and say we are united and we believe in this.
It just so happens I agree with about 95% of the deomocratic plat form. So... why not align myself with that?
I think that 75% of people that refuse to take a side aren't doing so because of what they believe, but because they are afraid of getting their hands a little dirty. It's easier to just pretend to be neutral than to possibly offend someone....
Yeah, good thing he didn't choke on that pretzel because then we'd have crazy Dick out there shooting up EVERYBODY!

Yes, I am a Democrat. Unfortunately, I have always fought for reason, sanity, and honesty in politics. This seems to be the famous lost cause.
If people like you, asking questions like this, are representative of the attitude of the party, then we are in big trouble.
I think you might a Republican trying to make the Democrats look foolish. On the other hand Yahoo Answers probably has just as many Democrats pretending to be Rediculous Republicans, so maybe it balances.

This is no time for party lines. This is no time for politics, period. We the People need to stand in unison against the tyrannical oppressors in DC. There is no need for violence, either. Just tell him he's fired, charge him with warcrimes, international human rights violations, ignoring the Constitution, rigging the 2000 and 2004 elections, and attempting to overthrow the legitimate government of the United States, then leave him to rot in jail. He and Cheney will get their just rewards from this country.

However, I am a democrat and deeply concerned about the way he has destroyed so many people's lives so thougtlessly, how he has undermined our basic human rights, our understanding that everyone whether American citizen or not possesses those rights, how he has manipulated the population through fear and terrible propoganda, and how he has abused the democratic system.
