There are two people living out of this one, very small room. We've bought all sorts of storage and are using them, but no matter what we do the room is still very unorganized and messy. Help!!!!

Utilize your wall space by putting up shelves or even cabinets for more storage. Buy some of those under the bed storage bins or just use the space under the bed as much as possible. Good luck!

Remove as much clutter as you can. If you don't use it or don't like it, get rid of it. When you have small spaces you often need to go up and not out as far as storage. Use wall space when you can. Multi-use furniture and objects are key items. And remember light will make the room look bigger than it really is. Also, if you put your beds on risers or lifters, you will be able to store seldom used items under there. Thus freeing up other valuable real estate for reguarly used. I hope this is helping you. I added a link that may help you further. Good luck.

Put up a shelf that runs all the way around the room about 18 inches down from the ceiling and use baskets or apple/orange boxes (Ask the produce manager at your supermarket to save them for you) to store things you don't need every day. You can decorate the boxes to make them look more attractive if you don't like how they look. I also believe in the motto " If you don't NEED it don't keep it!" If you don't like throwing away, have a garage sale, sell it on ebay or give to charity.

I have a very identical problem. My brother lives in a very small room and can never keep it clean. What I suggest is to clean out the closet, put all your worthless item is a small basket (such as toys, cd cases, worthless necklesses, ect.) Then what you do is try to get some sort of organiser. Put all of that in the closet. You can now organise some of your items! Then what you do is get a hamper for dirty clothes (in your case, you might want two). Then you can get a desk, seeing as that does have plenty of filers. Of course, if your gonna get a desk, ya might also want to get a computer. Finally, what you do is just get rid of anything else, like old computer games, hats, video games, stuff like that. That's all you do!

Get 4 large cardboard boxes, or bin bags.2 each, one for must keep and one for can lose! Clear away any clutter straight away, its very easy to just put a magazine down, some post an empty cup and then its chaotic. Once you've got it looking right be very disciplined, don't hoard stuff, take it to the charity shop, sell it on ebay or if its really rubbish, get a skip!

Since there is 2 people living out of this room, I would get 2 medium sized baskets and label them for each person. At the end of each day fill each basket with each person's belongings and then put each belonging back to the appropriate place. Also I would buy shelving to screw into the walls as high as you can go and put baskets up there and label them as well with "magazines", "dvd's", etc. Whatever you can get "off" of the floor the better. I hope this helps you.

I have a small room to but I don't share with anyone. I used to. What I do is I have a big dresser that I keep anything in it that will fit. I also have a closet and I put lots of stuff in old backpack and such and put them in my closet. I also used to have wall space. If you find something important or pretty or pictures or postcards put them on your wall. Believe me I have all those and mums from homecoming, Medals, art, and even Kites! Believe me my room is usually always clean unless I don't pick up my dirty clothes or something. Try these They work!

How small is "very small"? I find up is a good way to go when trying to use every inch of space. Put bins on the wall or only buy tall storage containers so you don't just use up floor space. Leaving floor space and using wall space is a good way to maximize whatever space you do have.

Make a agenda. do not crush your self and perchance sparkling one area of it quicker or later per week. perhaps... the closet on Mondays, less than the mattress on Tuesdays, the proper of the fabric cloth cabinet on wednesdays, fabric cloth cabinet drawers on Thursdays... etc & so forth. also, make effective you've a trash can and a laundry bin on your room... and use them... this can keep a lotta issues off of the floor. also go with extra cupboard area, so each and every thing has an area of its own. Bookshelves and storage packing packing containers are tremendous!!! i in my opinion placed a bookshelf in my closet so i might want to rearrange all of my denims and t-shirts. I merely fold them and position them on the cabinets and that i'll work out all of them with no need to open up any drawers. strong success!!!
