When did you give birth?

I am 38 weeks pregnant with my second. My baby dropped down in to my pelvic floor about 2 days ago. I can tell because I am having extreme pelvic pressure along with easy bowel movements, ect. How long was it before you gave birth after your baby 'Dropped?"

With our first, she dropped the night before I had her. With our second, he dropped 4 hours beofre I had him. I never dropped with our third, but she was induced. It is so different everytime! It sounds like you are close though! Congratulations!

I dropped a week before with all 3 of my children, but every woman is different. Most likely you will start loosing your mucus plug in the next week or so. Once that happens expect to go into labor very soon. Good luck and congratulations!

Had all 3 of mine 10-15 days early. My 1st was the only one that I really noticed had dropped and I went in labor the very next day. Good luck!

I delivered at about 41 weeks. I went into labor a few hours before she dropped.

If this is your second, what happened with the first? That will give you a better idea of what your body will do.

First baby...not until labor had started, second baby 2 days before he was born.

Depends on the baby and gestation. Some women stay dropped for a week... or more or less.

i have 3 kids and all of mine came around 37 1/2 weeks...im pregnant with # 4 :)

If I can remember correctly, my daughter dropped about 2 weeks before she was born.
