the problem with teething gel is that babbies have so much salivia that it works out of their mouth fast..running a fever with teething is vey normal along with rosy red checks or a teething rash...if they are running a fever you can always try tempra , i used gripe water too that helped abit but babbies dont stop getting teeth till over 2 years of age

My son is 10 months and only has two teeth, but he was in pain right up until they cut. Teething gel doesn't work on my son, he sucks it off my finger too quick, but it's good to have a feel, he won't let me near his mouth unless i have a bit on my finger. I find that Nelsons Teething Granules are excellent, they work so well that my son has realised that they take the pain away and opens his mouth as soon as I get the sachet out of the box bless him!!

A recent poll of babes revealed the 8 out of 10 babies were pain free after 4 mouths...but just were addicted to teething gel.

Dont use teething gel. It is useless because they have so much drool that they wipe or swallow it and it can numb their throats which will make them gag on food

Try Teething tablets or a small dose of Baby tylenol

Make sure he has alot to chew on. Biting down on something firm is a good way to get out the frustration and pressure
