Not familiar with Joel Osteen, but if he preached that we should love the leader of our country unconditionally, then he is a fool.
No, he is not correct. Our leaders are human beings, subject to making mistakes, including rather big ones on occasion. Support for a President must be earned. Respect for the that office must be earned by leaders who stand up for what they believe in, and who also listen to their countrymen, whom they represent. Our leaders in both parties have failed to listen to the American public for many, many years. It's time as voters that we change that.

While I heartily disagree with Joel O., I certainly would never report a question like that. I'd like to read the answers.
Many questions that I have answered in the past have been deleted, even a couple that I got "Best Answer" for.....how rude of the Y!A police!
Many of my answers have been deleted because someone reported me, usually unfairly. When I reply to Y!A, they send me some canned answer, and never do re-instate a question or answer.
Maybe they should either 1) delete the politics section altogether or 2) just stop monitoring it.
Feelings run high in this category, and people tend to be a little rude (and sometimes a LOT rude and obscene, too.) It's too bad that the "children" have to ruin it for those of us who would like to have political dialog.
Is there a place where users can go to have real discussions about politics that reflect all sides of issues?

If you look at the community rules you will notice that Yahoo,s first statement is that they do not check every answer, so rely on the members to police the site and sadly some people take that a little seriously or use it to have fun or to stifle the words of those with whom they disagree. Just write back to the customer service folks and if your case is genuine you will keep you points and have your question replaced.

Because, sadly, a frightening percentage of adult Americans have devolved into 3rd graders and Y! A is letting the 3rd graders police the school grounds.

I Know, i posted a question one time that asked about Liberals, and i didn't say anything bad, It was no different really than what Literals post about Conservatives, and they deleted my question. I'm beginning to think that Y/A sides with the Left more than the Right.

YAHOO SUCKS< the only reason people still use it is cause of the bandwidth.
When ever I get a violation notice or deleted question report, I send it back to yahoo with several nasty words, & I still keep on posting.
