C'mon only the bad guys in Hollywood films are English! Everyone knows that. So perhaps 10% at most of Hollywood actors are British.
The USA gets most of it's imports from developing nations which have cheap labour and therefore charge less for goods. I think the US import certain luxury goods from Britain such as books and music but that's about it.

Growing exports include alcohol, fashion and pharmaceuticals...but as with most developed economies the greatest exports are now in services (unless you are lucky enough to have mineral or energy resources). Export of services from UK to USA amounted to something like 22 Billion dollars last year.
