If they are old enough, they will start right away. Randy little creatures that they are. Make sure you have something that the fry can hide in. While not as bad as swordfish and Platties for eating their own babies, they do occasionally eat them.

So adding something they can hide in or around will help you keep them alive.

Warm up the water to 76 degrees (69 sounds sexy, but it is a bit chilly for them) and the should start mating immediately. The tank will clear up in a day or two if it is biologically cycled. Once the females are pregnatized, it takes 20 - 30 days to give birth. Good luck (-:

Females give birth around every 28 days and you will eventually learn that they will mate no matter what they are in, so if they were separated at the store but brought home in the same bag then most likely the females are pregnant. 69 degrees is pretty cold for guppies though, try getting the temp around 76. Check out this site for any info you want to know about guppies, they have a forum where you can ask questions too. http://www.guppies.com/

guppies are tropical fish so get that temp. up to 78 deg.min.up to about 84 max. in a well planted tank breeding should happen in 3-6weeks weekly water changes of 20% may help the cloudy water may be caused by a bacterial bloom will clear up in about a wk. or less if it is sediment a couple days . if your drinking water is cloudy your well may have a problem or need a filter
