Combine like terms:
10x-5=x-4
Subtract x from both sides:
9x-5=-4
Add 5 from both sides:
9x=1
Divide 9 from both sides:
x=1/9
Check:
7(1/9)-5+3(1/9)=6+1/9-10
7/9+3/9-5=1/9-4
10/9-5=1/9-4
10/9-45/9=1/9-36/9
-35/9=-35/9
I hope this helps!

7x-5+3x=6+x-10
7x-5+3x=x-4
10x-5=x-4
9x-5=-4
9x=1
x=1/9
Trick is to make sure you get the negatives right or else you might be off. Also put the 1/9 in place of the x and check your math. Best way to know if it works.

7x - 5 + 3x = 6 + x - 10 (first combine like terms)
10x - 5 = x - 4 (get variables on one side)
9x - 5 = -4 (get numbers on one side)
9x = 1 (divide by the coificient)
x = 1/9

combine 7x and 3x and (6-10)
10x - 5=x - 4
subtract x
9x-5=-4
add 5
9x=1
divide by nine
x=(1/9)
Wala!
Hope that helps!

x-1/9
1st subtract x from each side
add 5 to each side
combine terms gives you 9x=1
divide both sides by 9
gives you x=1/9
Im not a math expert so take with caution.
