As far as a cleaner goes, I don't know which one works best/well, or at least better than the others. I just wanted to pass on that I saw a brush specifically made for and shaped for cleaning the track at carolwright.com.

A good cleaner that removes lime scale and soap scum should work. Try Kaboom or CLR. Be sure to use a scrub brush and rinse well. Remove the doors for easy access to the problem area. If the problem still exists, try pouring bleach straight from the bottle and letting it set for a few minutes. Scrub and rinse well. After cleaning, use the chemical that worked best once a week. Be sure to wear gloves.

I make my own all purpose cleaner.......In a gallon jug mix 2 quarts water, 2 cups rubbing alcohol and 1-2 tablespoons each dawn dish soap and ammonia. Spray it in the slide and let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub with an old toothbrush. This cleaner works great on everything.

Get a short bucket. Make a mixture of scented pinesol or mr. clean, etc. with water and with a scrub brush work both sides of the door until signs of stain disappear. Rinse with a hand held shower or use clean water in the bucket. Do this regularly and it gets easier every time!

I find that vinegar, (white is cheapest) works on many things. It cuts through grime, hard water deposits, and calcium build up. I have tried it on shower heads also. You can make a paste with baking soda also for hard to clean, stubborn spots. I prefer vinegar to chemical stubtances like CLR.
