Get a couple of the plastic drawer organizers with wheels. You can put the different items in seperate drawers. Yarn in a big bottom drawer, your clay in another. You get the idea. These are on wheels so you can push them anywhere when you want to work AND you can get a table cloth (or piece of fabric) that is large enough to cover them when they're together and you have what appears to be a side table.

You first need a home for all that stuff. Do you work on it the most in the dining room, but want to store it somewhere else? Small plastic rolling carts are probably the least expensive, transportable solution. Most stores will have these carts on sale on and off, look at the ads. Each drawer will have a purpose, you may need more than one cart, each with a purpose and each drawer will hold items related to that particular craft ...... make any sense?

The best way I have found to organize most of my craft stuff is by the way that I use it, which for me means by color, for example I have many different styles and sizes of beads so each color is in a different divided box. I don't go crazy with categories just red, orange, yellow etc. This works for yarn, fabric clay or anything that comes in color. The other thing I have found useful is to get rid of anything I am never going to do again no matter who gave it to me or how valuable or any other excuse for keeping it. This includes unfinished projects. I only keep 5 unfinished, don't waist time and energy on unfufiling projects. Try passing on unwanted things to other crafters or kids to try. Then you can feel charitable instead of guilty.

I especially like the carts too. I am a renter so from time to time I move and of course each place is different. I really like the IRIS brand carts because they can be assembled in different ways as far as size and # of drawers. It is a never ending battle to get all arts and crafts supplies organized but these carts work well for me. Good Luck

Look in the sports department at a discount store and pick out a couple of cheap tackle boxes. They are a lot less expensive than organizers in the craft department, and they have lots of drawers and dividers.
