“You mean to say that when an imbecile walks into a church, office, day care center, or school, stumbling about, almost zombie-like, with gun-filled hands at his side, blabbering incoherently to his next victim, the reaction of grown men and women is to run, cry, whimper, and hide under a desk or pew? The sheeping of America is nearly complete.”

First of all, this statement is the work of an uneducated mind.
In the real world, when confronted with an armed, and possibly deranged individual, the first thought should be to protect oneself and your loved ones. Hopefully a 911 call can be made to get assistance from authorities who know how to deal with criminals, which your average 'sheep' doesn't know how to do, nor should they attempt to do so. Not being willing to be killed by a madman isn't being a sheep, it's being smart.
The sheeping of America has more to do with our lack of education in general. We are willing to accept whatever our Congressmen and women tell us, because we are lazy. Do your homework, read, know what these people stand for and would or do vote for, watch their current voting record in Congress. Is that what you would have voted for? No? Then that Congressman or woman needs to be voted out. We hired them, not the other way around. Remember that.

It sounds like a pro-gun rhetoric. It is probably wise to flee someone with a gun in an inappropriate setting. If you happened to be armed, and that person appeared about to start shooting people, then it would be appropriate for you to intervene if you could.

...and still Americans go look for such "imbeciles" abroad to fight..and suffer from the same sheeping symptoms.
Might and power are the ability to fight without fear. Americans are loosing their wars because of such symptoms.
