How much do waiters make in tips?

I know it varies a lot, but for a family restaurant that is not "nice" but not crappy, about how much do waiters make in tips? And how much do they make in wages?

Look at the menu and add up the cost of a meal for the average table. 3/4 person. If the restaurant isn't all that you should at least 10-15 % of the total bill. Wages vary from state to state, but do no have to be minimum wage due to the tips

Wages are city specific and tip wise it should be anywhere between $50-$70....
