President Bush is a very pure president. Think about it. What has he done for the sake of popularity? Certainly not issue an order for more troops in Iraq. He is doing what is right in the world. Maybe he is not addressing issues at home right now because, contrary to what many think, they are Not pressing. America is fine...he is looking at the larger picture. The long term picture. And that is the difference between a leader and a manager.

He is not in Iraq to 'lead people in other countries.' If he was doing that, he could have easily established himself there. He set up another government...AFTER getting rid of a dictator who killed many of his own people and harbored terrorism. Yes, more than 3,000 American men and women have given their lives...and millions of terrorists have given theirs. Now that is a good kill ratio.

Get off your high American horse and look at the big picture. You will then understand that this is not for America, but for the world.

-Most of the answers I have received thus far have been uneducated rantings and ravings. For example, "Bush is a liar, coward, thief, fool, moron and an idiot who makes a fungus look intelligent. He has done nothing to help this country - only harm it." That does nothing for me. For one, if you are talking about him lying about WMD...he didn't lie, there was a threat. Yea, he may have used that as an alley way to get to Saddam, but there was still a threat.

-Obviously, when I said millions, I was not being literal.

-I have a lecture given by a well-known journalist who has done extensive, unbiased research within the White House and all within our government...he said that oil was NOT an issue for going to Iraq.

-Don't jump on bandwagons.

Finally I see a honest opinion about our President. He leads by what is best for the world and yes our country. many do not agree because they refuse to understand the larger picture involved. History will be kinder to his leadership than the current biased reporting. In war people die, but, ignoring evil and hoping it will go away or can be bought off is just putting off the day when you must confront it.

Bush is a liar, coward, thief, fool, moron and an idiot who makes a fungus look intelligent. He has done nothing to help this country - only harm it. God willing, we'll survive the remaining two years of this bozos reign, then maybe we can get someone in the Oval Office who is a true leader.

I did not vote for a world president, maybe you did .I do not want him working on world problems ,how about the invasion from the south north east and west I happen to think that is a problem. How about him giving away our ports ? our airlines ,Our social security? To illegal immigrants, the man is insane and evil. He went to war to avenge the attempted hit on his old man, pure and simple,Asama is not in Iraq, everyone knows he lied,He will destroy our military, our economy, and country like he ran every business he ran into the ground.I think the word is (((pig headed)))But I still think he is evil too.He would rather men die than admit he was wrong, the fact is he don't care about them dying.Or this country at all.

President Bush did what had to be done. Spineless Liberals got us into this mess and he has performed admirably. Yahoo answers is not a sample of the average population of America. Liberals are thick as fleas on a dog in here and half as useful. Liberals have no stomach for war. And our enemies know that. People die in war. We have lost 3,000 heroes but that is a fraction of the dead of every other war we have had. Only in America is life so precious. Radical Islam is counting on Liberals to weaken America so they can defeat us. Liberals think that if we just leave them alone they will love us. The things they believe in is one of the main reasons Al Quiada attacked America. Abortion, weakness, homosexuality, drugs, alcohol. All of the things that Liberals say hey if its your thing do it. You people think nobody could hate you because you are OK with everything. That couldn't be further from the truth. EXAMPLE how many of you have gotten in a fight? you stand up for yourself to someone. You fight hard and win or lose after it is over there is respect. Often they become friends after .Why Respect. Peace at all cost doesn't get you respect . You are looked at as weak and pathetic. America is respected when it kicks ***. And despised when it withdraws.

Are you seriously proposing that the Iraqis would vote dubya as their leader or do you mean he could "set himself up as a dictator". The only thing George Bush should do is listen once in a while and if he is not capable of that then he should resign before he gets the US in more trouble.

You say "Millions of terrorists have given their lives."

It doesn't help your cause to make up statistics to support your position. Do a little research before you go shooting your mouth off, it will do wonders for credibility.

Your "kill ratio" is terribly skewed therefore, your statement is totally without merit.

What hasn't he done for the sake of popularity?

Raise terror alert leves for political reasons. He sure did that a lot before the 2004 Election, when was the last time it got raised?

I do not remember any President going through such a difficult time as Bush has had except perhaps Lincoln during the 1864 elections.
