trying to explain to my 13 yr old daughter why i was in a mental hospital and why had i tried to kill my self 5 times over. 2 attempts in 3 days. My little boy was only tiny and i told him i,d stayed with friends. Tyring to break that to your kids when you just want out of a hell hole of a life you live in and not out of "their" lives was a tough thing to do.. She hated me for a while(understandebly). But shes a mum now at 17 with another on the way and i think and hope she understands the real reasons why i did what i did. But i live with the guilt of hurting my children every day. So i strive now to be a better mum. Also not being able to say goodbye to my nanna as she was dying of cancer. My mum wanted me to remember her how i knew and loved her..I was a nanas girl..15 yrs on and im the only one who tends her grave as often as i can and i miss her so very much..She understood me and i did her.

Facing the death of my lovely dad. He was a wonderful fair and kind man who used to make us laugh. The shock was immense and the shock waves will follow me all my life. I can honestly say, nothing I have faced has ever been more difficult.
