Insert it into the cd drive and restart. Then follow instructions. NT is part of the opeating system base. Maybe if you ask him about it. Maybe if you were wifey instead of sneaky he would not have to chat at night. Confront him but be ready for the consequences. It is not harmless what he is doing. He must be doing it because of a lack of somthing at home.

Well the only Win OS that I know that needs to be started by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del, is Windows NT.
But like others suspected, how come if it's your laptop that you do not know your own password? Is it really your laptop?
Specially with a user name like Anonamous. Thief.
And good luck cracking NT :)

Well your breaking ethics and law here, but hey thats what i love about my job. Ok i'll give you a slight thing that May Work. Just Put in your name as Administrator and no pass ok. Sometimes people claim to be administrator but the Master Admin account of XP will still be there. There is a chance it may work. But well what your doing is breaking the law. So i wont give you any further details on this :-)
On the other hand if this is really your laptop, hey but then you should know ur own pass. Oh yeah even if you dont assign one, Windows will just ask, in that case type your account name, That is the name you see on the Start menu and there is no password.
Master system administrator has access to all files. Try it.

I dont understand... OH. is that other half?... Passwords are created to keep people out....if you ask for the password and are given it... then you are allowed in... but if not, then respect that and dont try.
There are ways to find a persons password by going into the setup, but you need to know what you are doing.... dont ruin the trust you should have with this person.

Try pressing enter.
(I'm serious, when there is no password, that's what you've got to do. But if it doesn't work, then there IS a password, and I have no idea of how you're going to get it)

There are loads of ways to reset the password. You need some software like ERD Commander to reset the administrator password to "blank".

if he uses his laptop for work or if he takes it with him. he dont want others getting in to it. not keeping you from getting in to it.
also he might not want you in it because he is afraid you might mess something up in it. plus you have your own laptop. respect his privacy for his computer. a wife dont need to know everything that goes on in his husband life.
you can ask for the password but he will prob ask why you need in there as you have your own.

people have passwords for a reason, to stop people looking at our data, have the guts to tell him you want to look in his lappy, he might not like it though. do you have a password on yours? would you like him to be sneaking a peak at yours behind your back?
