Nah... My son didn't start crawling until nine months, and he was just fine. He didn't start walking until he was fifteen months old.
There's not a thing wrong with him, either.
Some kids just want to learn slower than others. Seven months is the average, but it's NOT the rule. Don't worry.

Just give it time. My daughter started crawling pulling up on things and cruising the furniture at 6 months so we figured she would be an early walker as well, but that is not so she is now 10 months and still prefers to crawl everywhere. My neighbors son just started crawling about 2 weeks ago, and he is 9 months and has already caught up with my daughter, we thought he was never going to get there. Just give it time it will happen when she is ready for it to..

My daughter was at the same stage when she was that age, but she just started crawling the other day, and she is 9 1/2 months old. I was starting to get concerned also, but your daughter will start crawling when she is ready, don't worry. But if you are really worried, you can always talk to your baby's doctor about it.
Plus, having a crawling baby around is hard work, so don't rush it, ha ha.

My nephew didn't crawl at all...he went straight to walking (with the help of holding on to things until he got his balance). All babies develop at different rates...
My girl is 3 months old and she hasn't reached out to grab anything yet so I started to get concerned, but was reasured that she is developing just fine and all good things come to those who wait :)
I would enjoy the fact that your daughter will still be where you put her when you put her down instead of crawling all over the place :)

no some babies learn to walk 9-11 months without ever learning to crawl if you really want her to crawl try finding something like a treat or her favorite toy and get her to come to you without giving in an giving it to her or you could try a crwaling mickey mouse toy and let her play with it try to put her in the position to crawl

Probably not, but mention it to your doctor, on the next visit. It doesn't hurt to ask, and if there should be a problem, you will catch it early. I'm watching my grandson, at four months, and he is just starting to roll over. You little girl is in the right ballpark, so don't worry, just ask.

the "average" age of crawling is about 8 months.. also some babies NEVER crawl. it is not considered a developmental milestone. some babies just get go straight to walking when they are big enough.

Don't worry, she'll crawl or roll over when she wants. She's normal!
