2.
a. Orbitals aren't necessarily spheres. Only the s orbital is spherical. The p, d, f, etc. orbitals have other shapes.
b. An orbital isn't a path, it's a space in which there is a high probability of finding certain electrons. But the electrons can be anywhere in that space; they're not on a path.
c. Again, an orbital is a volume in which there's a high probability of finding electrons associated with that orbital. (And there's a small chance that the electron may even be outside of that volume.) It doesn't describe a precise location for an electron.
d. Orbitals contain up to two electrons.

a million. From a facet view of a e book, you will see that there is two components of the canopy and pages. this means that the thickness must be: Thickness = 200 * web site length + 2 * cover length = (200*0.10mm)+(2*0.020mm) = 20.04 mm = 2.004 cm 2. quantity = length * width * top = 10cmx2cmx2xm = 40 cm^3 A 2cmx2cmx2cm block is of quantity 8 cm^3. in case you're taking the whole quantity of the metallic block and divide it by using the quantity of each guy or woman block, you need to locate how many blocks you elect: 40 cm^3/8cm^3 = 5 blocks Chemistry questions: - Evaporation is the actually technique of taking a substance and changing is from liquid section to gas section. Boiling is the factor the place the rigidity exerted by using the liquid suits the encircling rigidity, subsequently inflicting the substance to start evaporating. - the better rigidity you have, the tighter the air is packed, and the greater the capability of the molecules is contained and conserved. The capability of the molecules, at our point is indicative of warmth. subsequently, the greater rigidity exists, the warmer the contained product will become... which permits quicker and much less stressful cooking (because you may carry onto greater warmth for an prolonged quantity of time).

1) Energy of a level is E = -13.6/n^2

so for fundamental level n=1 E =-13.6 eV
for level 5---> E(5) = -13.6/5^2 = -13.6/25

and energy for 1 atom is E =-13,056 eV (E5-E) = -0.544+13.6

in A mole there are 6.0210^23 atoms

so E= 13.056*6.0210^23=7.8610^24 eV =1.26 10^6 J

2) in quantum mechanics, I would say all are wrong

a) the density is not uniform
b) in Bhr, it is a fixed path, in quantum theory not
c) No, it is only a probability

d) 2 electrons are on an orbital

you need to do something difficult, and somewhat scary

1. pick up your chemistry book
2. wipe the dust off of it
3. this is the hard part - open it up. it might be difficult due to the low usage, but keep trying until you get it
4. turn to the index in the back and find the key words. next to the key words are the pages where you can find the answers for yourself

why are students these days so damn lazy they won't even look up their own homework answers?
