i havent had such concern before. but i guess, get a pale with water and add a powder soap or liquid soap like detergent. srub the door with it using sponge. if there is smell left after u wash it with water. rinse it with water which has disenfectant added into the water, just few drops, i guess it will do the trick. good luck

Ugh, when I JUST moved in my townhouse a few years ago, I was up rather late just unpacking kitchen stuff... my shadow is on the window blinds then I hear a thud outside that sidling glass door....
Since it was 2am, I WAS NOT gonna look out or open the door/window to see what it was.

So Morning comes, I look outside and theres a awful egg mess on my sliding door!! :-(
I just cleaned it with paper towels and Windex.... it did the job. And I used a steamer for the stubborn areas. (Works great! and also works great against tough dirt that tends to lurk about)
and I haven't had issues with eggs since.

soap and water....but do it soon or it will eat the paint off your door!
