Your body, suprisingly, burns alot of energy in the hours that you sleep. This is why body builders will often have a high carb meal before going to sleep, and why breakfast is so important. Alot of fluid is also lost in your morning pee, and drinking water during the day will make the scales say you weigh more. A better method of measuring yourself would be a body fat analyser (they quiet cheap now, about £15 from JJB). This tells you how much fat & water your body has in it - so at the end of the day, even though you weigh more, you'll be able to see that you haven't gained fat.

You have food in your stomach and waste in your bladder. In the morning your system is empty. That's why you should only weigh yourself once a day, right after you get up.

Probably because you've eaten breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Also you have probably retained water. Overnight you will lose excess water in sweat and will be back to to 52k-ish.
