I would have thought good text was text that could be easily understood.

Hamlet is a very strong piece, considered by many to be Shakespeare's best. It has several different themes, including adultery, good vs. evil, truth vs. lies, and insanity. The play itself was strong enough that a play could be written based on characters from it (Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead) and it has several very famous lines within it ("Alas, poor Yorick!", "To be, or not to be", "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark").
So yes, in my opinion, Hamlet is a "good text," a sound play about which papers can be written, or presentations can be made, depending on what you want it for.

I have no idea what you're asking. "Hamlet" is generally regarded as one of the supreme accomplishments in all of Western Literature. I suppose that qualifies it as a "good text."
