Is it possible to buy bulk fossilized wood?

Fancy colors are not needed, just that it looks like driftwood, or obviously wood by its shape. I would like to build a field stone type wall of it but need field stone type prices.

I know that any time a volcano went off near a forest it produced a layer of ash and petrified wood, and any private land in such a location would have a great deal of it, the question is who might be selling it?
