There has to be a genuine interest for people to visit your website, and also good advertising. Email the link to your family and friends, and if they like the content, they will pass it on to their family and friends.

If you are selling something, you need to advertise. If you need to pay for banner ads and other online ads, then you are hopefully selling enough to make it worth the cost of advertising.

I browse a lot and tend to only stop and read websites that have color and pictures--quality action oriented pictures. I also like websites that use readable size print--remember most people don't have 20-20 vision and don't wear there glasses while using their computer. Hope this helps.

a lot of websites, to me, seems to have youtube videos. mb if u open up a youtube account then create a channel, u can tell a lot of people to go on ur web. that way, ur sure to have a lot of hits

there are certain tags you can use to list key words for your site these words will bring you site up in search engines when people type them in.

unfortunately i cant recall which tags they were now.

Put the URL as your signature in all outgoing mails.....that way, everyone you email will see it, as will everyone that they forward to, etc, ad infinitum.
