Can you help to choose a topic for my sociology research paper that I have to do for school? I need a topic that is easy to handle that someone has done some work on already.

how about this. why african americans do not feel the gay rights movement is the same as the civil rights movment in the 1960'S. show the points from both sides like the views of the african americans and the views from the gay community. show the things that the african americans wanted in the civil rights movment alongside the gays want from the gay right movement and see how many similarities there are or are not. how does that sound. just a suggestion. or maybe the child spanking issues that we are faced with these days, but i like the first idea better. that is more up to date with the children of today and is a much more heated issue.

How the media in the United States affects girls' self esteem? Establish a period of time, like 10 years, or limit the ages, like 12 to 20. Or something like this.

I did a thesis on food security, its a good topic just make sure ur scope of study is not too large.

You should be able to find many sources on almost any social problem. Sexual violence, suicide, poverty. There are a lot of sources because everybody is trying to find a solution to it.
