I wasn't aware that it was. The heart has an infinite capacity to love. It's not difficult at all...but sometimes inappropriate.

I disagree with your question...
I think we have an infinite capacity to love any number of persons and also to do complete justice to each one of them. Yes, if you are playing hide and seek with them then its a different issue. You can't convince two or more persons that you love them all and entry of a new person in your life will not affect the degree or the extent to which you used to love them when that new person was not there in your life.
If that is what you are asking then I agree, its difficult. Moreover, people are possessive (me too). They find it impossible to digest that a new person has entered your life.

Come on. It's hard enough to be loving and faithful to just one person, let alone more than one. Once you start taking on the added responsibility you're spreading yourself way too thin and opening yourself wide to nothing but trouble, pain and misery.

Well that's how we have been taught to love just one, from religion to family routines. And besides that causes problemsif the people that you love don't understand. We have been taught the the ages to love one person. So be careful.

It is natural to feel the desire to love more than one or "to spread your seed." Most average people feel this. It takes someone with above average intelligence to understand the consequences and remain monogamous.

Because you feel guilty of betraying your loved one, and your loved one will feel very hurt.
