I absolutely love The Story of O, Rice's Sleeping Beauty trilogy and The Marketplace series, but everything else I've read in this genre has fallen short of the intense dominance/submission these novels have.

I'm more interested in male dominance and female submission and I need something new to read! Any suggestions?

Hmm, well, when you say 'fantasy', I don't know much in those terms, but I know of some BDSM novels.

There's "Carrie's Story", which is said to be wonderful, "The Possession", a lot of stuff from Diana Hunter, Exit to Eden by Anne Rice (although I didn't like the ending whatsoever), and my absolute personal favorite- The Leather Daddy and the Femme by Carol Queen.

You might try this too:

You could try out John Norman's Chronicles of Gor series, but I'll have to be honest with you. John Norman is a HORRIBLE writer. Oddly enough, though, the ideas that he presents in his novels is often imitated, mostly online. There are many people that use Gorean concepts in modern consensual Master/slave relationships. While I don't care for the lifestyle (I have a hard time accepting that someone could base their lifestyle on the writings of a scifi author, though it works for the Scientologists), it certainly deserves a footnote in BDSM history.

Stephen Lawhead's the song of Albion sequence. it relatively is 3 books, no longer too long....very stable. The Paradise conflict, The Silver Hand, The countless Knot. it relatively is Celtic fantasy in keeping with some historic previous and phonology, in basic terms like Tolkien.
