I'm gonna try to write this so it's easy to understand the equation:

(- 7 over (x+2)) + x+2=0

Hope that is easier to understand, last time i posted it, people said they weren't sure what the equation was

-7/(x+2) + x+2 = 0

Hope thats the equation!

-7 + (x+2)² = 0

x² + 4x + 4 - 7 = 0

x² + 4x - 3 = 0

This is a quadratic equation and has to be solved by the quadratic formula:

x= [-B±√(B^2-4A*C)]/2A

A=1, B=4, C=-3

x= [-4±√(4)^2-4(1*-3)]/2(1)

x= [-4±√(16+12)]/2

x= [-4±√28]/2

x=(-4±2√7)/2

x=-2±1√7

x = 0.645 or x = -4.645

(-7/x+2) + x + 2 = 0 > First: eliminate the fraction-multiply the denominator by everything....

(x+2)(-7/x+2) + (x+2)(x) + (x+2)(2) = (x+2)(0)

Sec: cross cancel "like" terms & combine the remaining terms...

-7 + x(x) + x(2) + 2(x) + 2(2) = 0
-7 + x^2 + 2x + 2x + 4 = 0
x^2 + 4x - 3 = 0

Third: The equation can't be factored > Use the Quadratic Formula which is, x = [- b +/- V`(b^2 - 4ac)] / 2a
*You have three terms for the variables...
a = 1
b = 4
c = -3

x = [- 4 +/- V`(4^2 - 4(1)(-3))] / 2(1)

x = [- 4 +/- V`(16 - 4(1)(-3))] / 2

x = [- 4 +/- V`(16 - 4(-3))] / 2

x = [- 4 +/- V`(16 + 12)] / 2

x = [- 4 +/- V`(28)] / 2

x = [- 4 +/- V`(4*7)] / 2

x = [- 4 +/- V`(2*2*7)] / 2

x = [- 4 +/- 2V`(7)] / 2

*You have two solutions: one has addition, the other has subtraction.

1. x = [- 4 + 2V`(7)] / 2
x = (- 4/2) + (2/2)V`(7)
x = - 2 + V`(7)

2. x = [- 4 - 2V`(7)] / 2
x = (- 4/2) - (2/2)V`(7)
x = - 2 - V`(7)

(-7/x+2)+x+2=0

Multiply the equation by (x+2):
-7+(x+2)(x+2)=0
-7+x^2+4x+4=0
x^2+4x-3=0
You will need to use the quadratic formula for this:
x=-b±√b^2-4ac/2a
a=1,b=4,c=-3
x=(-4±√(4)^2-4(1*-3))/2(1)
x=(-4±√16+12)/2
x=(-4±√28)/2
x=(-4±2√7)/2
x=-2±1√7

- 7/(x+2)) + x+2=0
Multiply by (x+2) to get rid of denominator
now
-7 + x^2 + 2x +2x +4 = 0
x^2 +4x -3 = 0
Factor the quadratic

(-7 over (x+2)) + x+2 =0

(-7- over(x+2)) = -x-2
-7 = (x+2) (-x-2)

-x(square) -4x-4 +7 =0
-x(square) -4 x+ 3= 0
x(square) +4x -3 =0

you cannot factorize this equation u need to use another formula to get the x value.

x = (-b+/- ( square root of b(square) -4ac) over (2a))

i have no idea how to write down that equation in words try to understand from wat been written therefore the answer is :

x = - 0.129 or x = - 3.8708

i hope i didnt make any careless mistake.

-7/(x+2) + x +2 = 0
Multiply both sides by (x=2) getting
-7 +x(x+2) +2(x+2) = 0
-7 + x^2 + 2x +2x + 4 = 0
x^2 +4x -3 = 0
Use quadratic formula
x = [-4 +/- sqrt(16-4(1)(-3))]/2
x = [-4 +/- sqrt(28)]/2 = [-4 +/- 2sqrt(7)]/2
x= -2 +/- sqrt (7)
x = -2 +sqrt(7) , and also
x = -2 -sqrt(7)
