I am looking for a place where you can download or read books online. I am not looking for places that have ONLY classic books. I like reading modern books more so than classic books.... If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it

If they have places online where you can listen to music for free, then you would think that they would have like... an online library... You know, bringing a public library online. I saw that Google Books kind of has what I am looking for, but they don't have full versions! HELP!!!

Keep in mind that part of the reason that you can't read modern books for free online is because it's a violation of copyright law. Legally, complete books can only be published online for free if they are in the public domain or if the copyright holder gives permission. Some authors do give permission, but only a tiny fraction. Try some of the following sites:

Your problem is going to be the fact that most of the books posted online are over, what is it, 70 years old, at which point they usually become public domain.
Finding anything not public domain for free is rare, but I'd say your best bet is personal websites, where people are just posting things they've written.
