Sorry, sweet, but I haven't found anything that works yet, including vitamins. I am extremely nearsighted, worse than 20/3600, and if I had found something that actually made an improvement I would have tried it. Contacts aren't that bad once you get used to them, especially now that they have the kind you only have to take out and change once a month.

Your poor eyesight may be due to several factors: You may be short sighted and in this case you will develp having headaches . You can try contact lenses or specs but you do not want this . For healthy eyesight a lot of vitamins A 25000 IU daily, eat healthily ,carrots etc. Have your eyes tested to determine whether you are long sighted or short sighted or whether you have other problems.
Laser operation is an option if you wish to have it instead .

It really depends on why your eyesight is poor. If it has to do with the focal length of your eye and the shape of your eyeball then you need to ask a doctor. If it is due to eyestrain, i.e. from staring at a computer screen all day, then exercise and rest will help. It is suggested you get up and away from your computer and do "look at the horizon" exercises. Diet is also crucial. The blood flow through the eye is much slower than other parts of the body and the eye needs good nutrition too. Herbs such as Eyebright, Bilberry, and anit-oxidants are supposed to be helpful. Avoid too much vitamin A!!! Hope this helps.

With all due respect, please improve your written English.
Bear in mind that genetics and general health play a great role with eyesight.
My first recommendation is the easiest and the hardest and it does not cost a penny-nothing! There are a few eye exercises and facial massages you can do anywhere. With that said, stress, strain, and fatigue are your eyes worst enemies. Also, cleanliness is crucial-you should not touch on or around your eyes unless your hands have been washed.
First, remember to blink your eyes often. The exact number (15 - 30 times per min.) depends upon your environmental conditions, e.g., dust, dirt, wind, etc. It is difficult to see clearly with dry and/or dirty eyes.
Second, look away (30 to 60 seconds) from what you have been looking at for the previous 30 minutes, TV, blackboard, book, etc.
Move your eyes around as if they are drawing a circle. Next look at something in the distance then switch to something close. You are stretching your eyes similar to when you stand up and reach for the sky-you know how good it feels to stretch the different parts of your body-your eyes need to stretch too.
Now you can try: "palming”, place your clean palms over your closed eyes and gently massage your eyes in a circular motion. Next, gently massage the muscles in your face and around your eyes. Lastly, there is a technique called, edging", that will assist with your ocular acuity (better vision). Begin by selecting any object, smaller at first that is at the boundary of your 20/20 vision-the point at which objects begin to lose their sharpness and visual clarity. Starting anywhere along the object's outer edge, slowly follow around the entire object and make a real effort to clearly see the "edge". Select objects with different shapes, colors, and increasingly larger sizes. The objective here is to help train the eye to better detect the light rays. In other words, the ocular muscles are able to maintain the eye in the best position to allow the pupil to properly open and allow the cornea to focus the light signals upon the retina.
Anything more and I would suggest you buy a book regarding eye exercises. I did say the easiest and hardest thing at the beginning of my answer and it is the hardest thing to do because it requires consistency-everyday.
Good luck and please excuse my candid comment about your written English. Still, you will accomplish much more and achieve higher goals in your life with a properly written language.

This sounds rather simple but the solution could be as simple as taking a certain combination of vitamins. Optomerists have found that macular degeneration is halted/reversed by recommending visual vitamins. At least it appears to be helping with my mother's eyesight. what I would suggest is search the web for( vitamins for eyesight) Best of luck to you

poor eyesight is due to the actual eyeball being misshapen, there is not way to 'cure' this without surgery. I love my specs, get a fabulous pair or two that you love and you will come to think of them as great accessories. Also get a pair of contacts for those few occasions when you really don't want specs. My specs have swarovski crystals on the sides, orange sides and purple front. . .I get compliments on them almost every single day :)

You can try doing exercises to improve your vision. I recently started doing eye exercises to try to improve my vision. I created a blog where I record my progress with the exercises.
My vision is 20/400, which is really poor.
I recently saw some improvement. Other people (who have also experienced improvements) have posted comments about their experiences as well. You can check it out at: http://improvingmyeyesight.com/blog

Your problem is known as pride. Walk around for two days with a blindfold over your eyes without any light at all getting to your eyes and that should take care of the problem.

well guess what if you are over 40 have relatives with glasses that is your genes or whatever and nothing you can do will help that. I suggest that if you are having problems reading then get glasses and read that is what happened to me. I mean its not bad cause you have hard time seeing its just one step you have to take some of us that are growing old.
