No, it can only happen coinsidantly. If the Dolphins were in this years Superbowl, then they would have the home field. But i hear Chicago is the next Superbowl game. If there bears are able to get to the Superbowl next year, they would get home field.

The closest were the Rams in Super Bowl XIV, which was played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and the 49ers in Super Bowl XIX, which was played at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto. When the Raiders won Super Bowl XI at the Rose Bowl they were still in Oakland.
