If I were going to adopt, I'd pick an older child. They always seem to be the forgotten ones. Breaks my heart thinking that nobody wants them. They need love too!

I would get a 2 year old, because they are still baby cute, and if you break them of bad habits, and raise them from a young age, they will respect you more. And it allows you to get closer to them, and teach them to be open with you so that you will always know if they are having a problem. Also you can get an idea of what they like, so that later on you can know what to buy them.Another plus is that they are at the potty training age, and this will save you lots of time! I have always wanted a kid, but I didn't want to go thru the process!

I would have loved to adopt when I was younger. I wanted an infant. Now that I'm older I can see why I was not blessed with children. I have nieces and nephews and I see what they are going through and I don't know if I could see my child go through some of the things that they have gone through.

for molding their mind with your love the age should be under 3

for good understanding of your business and love the age should be 21

we shouldn't adopt at intermediate age of from 5 to 16 since , if they came to know that they are adopt child and we are not true parents, then their heart will affect more also us too.

I would want the child to be a newborn....Like a day or two old.
Pretty much so that I can have it from the beginning and be the only known parent to it.
If I couldn't have that then I suppose a 12-13 year old.
