Yea right now i'm taking french and my french teacher said that in france the accept nudity more in france than here in the usa . it's because people in the US get offended easily and then they start ranting about oh there showing nudity on tv .

Hypocresy....been naked is Natural in Europe at least topless in the beaches...but they have less pornography industry ... JUst think about California,Las Vegas and Miami porn industry. How many strip tease clubs are.. so I think nudity exist in both places..seen in a very different way.

i grew up in north europe and moved to usa as a teen. us european's aren't some crazy freeminded nudists like some americans think. we see nudity as something natural whereas americans see it as sexual. it's just something we are used to since little kids.

If you knew my friends and family you would not be including us in that statement,we go skinny dipping all the time in the rivers and lakes, and just around the house and even the yard at night I put up a privacy fence and now we sun bath and swim now in the pool the way God intended ..we were all at the lake last year all alone we thought.. but a nice young couple with their little ones holding their hands. came out of the woods. and they walked right thru us all.. I have to admit it was a little embarrassing.at best.,Peace Y'all.

This country was founded by Puritans, so we still have some customs that are considered a bit "prudish" by the rest of the world..

The US is a more conservative place than Europe. Everything enrages Americans, or pisses them off. They are a very biased group and hang out with their kind.

Um...there's porn sites if you need that crap. Even a lot of movies these days flaunt it like it's nothing out of the ordinary. Frankly humans are disgusting animals and should remain clothed.

because here, we associate nudity with sex..instead of ...just a beach or whatever they associate it with over there...and we associate it with sex and not everyone wats sex just walking around the streets.

Because in our country (US) there are still morals and religious principles to our good fortune. Nudity, promiscuity, open homosexuality are all signs of a place in decadency. Let's keep it that way.
