we have such an immigration problem with illegal aliens coming from mexico .
and I hear that you have the same with polish people , but yours is legal.
our immigration problem is unbelievable. We have them using our healthcare system for free, overloading our schools, and underbidding everybody's job. It seems that they are seriously overrunning our country. Just curious if they come over there now .

i know what you mean. in uk we dont have many mexicans but lots of polish, chineese and asians.

I am in the UK and dont think I have ever come across a mexican? We do have a lot of polish people and I hear the same complaints about the work. They are coming over and providing cheap labour whisch is putting a lot of the UK people out of work. A lot of the factories are laying people off in favour for the polish. Even though they are getting paid the same as the brits, apparently they work twice as hard.
I work in recruitment and I have noticed the number of clients I deal with has gone down as they are bringing polish workers over direct from poland.
The housing is in a bad way also, there is a waiting list for british people who are in awful housing conditions and the polish are getting housing given to them left right and contre. Its really nopt on.
And apparently now there is another countryu joining the EU so they are all coming over as well.
Something should be done and limits placed on the amount of people coming across. I bought a house in a lovely village a few years back and now its full of polish people and I am the minority

No, the only Mexicans I've met over here were either male postgraduate students, or educated women who had had US citizenship before coming to the UK with their non-Mexican husbands. We do have large numbers of recent Polish immigrants now, but they tend to be young and unmarried I think, and I don't think they'll be eligible for benefits if they haven't worked here already. There are those same concerns though, and I think people (including the government) are more concerned with African and Asian immigrants, and those from the new EU members Romania and Bulgaria.

There are a few Mexicans here, my friend Tamara is half Mexican. She has her own business and also works part time in a shop.
We do have a lot of Polish immigrants but they come here to work, they are hard workers and mostly do minimum wage jobs. It is not as if they are taking away jobs from British people because we need people to do these jobs and before the Polish came we had to advertise in foreign nations for workers.
As long as they work here they can use our National Health Service but they pay taxes so why shouldn't they get health care.
Immigrants actually have benefited the UK economy to a tune of 7% which is great.

No Latin Americans but the UK is full of people from the rest of the 3rd world and in the past few years Eastern Europeans. The majority of ethnic people are fanatically pro immigration and publicly speaking out immigration is generally viewed as worse than being a child killer

Don't have much of a prob with Mexicans (to far away).
But we do have immigrants from every other pigsty third world country you can think of! Both legal and illegal.
And yes they do cost us a fortune in social services, schools, etc all of with they don't deserve or work for...

we don't have the problem with mexicans but we do have severe problem with many nationalities from the eu. they also come flocking from far and wide. having heard about our wonderful benefit state, i don't personally have a problem with foreigners. the reason is that our national health system is bursting at the seams. hardly a night on tv passes where some poor unfortunate is denied medication because it is not cost effective.yes we do have the same problems.
