you will not need planing permission for this .. you will need to go down at least 600mm you did not say what you plan to use the building for ..if just for storage use 100mm solid concrete blocks..a decent bricky will build it in a day ..trench fill the footings with concrete ..its cheaper than a bricky! if you get it finished for 2grand you will have done well

Hi if you use brickwork you will most surely need both planning permission and building regs.

Why bricks, blocks a window and door? Got someone moving in ?

you askin.....yr neighbors..city hall.......you got city water and sewer in that cornor?.as a contractor........i wouldn't touch this job............without a lot of questions asked...including permits...if itsa brick and block..................if you want a skidd base gazebo type shed........they sell them as packages at a lot of lumber yards............sheet the exterior and away you go...face with artifial stone.................and in an emergency you can move it with a winch or crane...........if yr in a hurricane area .........or tornadoe's forget it...go by the building code..it's minimmal and usually safe...........if it's a dream....don't let me p on yr parade..........investigate......i don't build to look pretty..i build for structure and safety
