I have had 2 miscarriages (sorry about your ectopic) and it was the hardest thing for me. I also had brown discharge at the begining of both my miscarriages, but that doesn't always mean that you have miscarried. I think you should go to your doctor and see what he says. Better safe than sorry. Good luck to you in the future. Trust me I know about having to lose an unborn baby feels like and I am very scared also, but my hubby and I are trying for our third. I already have 2 boys. GOOD LUCK AND GET TO THE DOC!

It was probably just a heavy period. If you were having another ectopic pregnancy you would know having experienced it before.A friend of mine had an ectopic pregnancy and was told she had only half the chance of getting pregnant again as she had a fallopian tube removed and within 3 months she was pregnant again so if you are trying for another keep trying, i am sure it will happen if you try not to worry too much about it.Good luck!

it could be implantation bleeding. im going threw that now. i had what i thought was my period on the 18th it was a rusty red brown color and was light and as the night went on got lighter and lighter. I did have sex and after had some pink. and then it was gone again. and today i just have some more spotting. my period isnt due till the 28th. but im hopin that it is. I would say call your ob since you are at higher risk and i understand for coming here to see if anyone else has ever had that. But i wish you the best and i hope you are.

Brown discharge is old blood so you were likely not pregnant. But as with any medical concern you should check with your doctor.
Is there a Health Hotline in your area?
Here in Manitoba we have Healthlinks. A number you can call to ask health related questions without having to make an apppointment and see a doctor.

It could be old blood or implantation spotting, the best thing to do is to take a pg test, if that doesn't clear things up for you then ask your GP.
