Keep it simple and romantic. It is about love and romance, not about a material thing. Writing a personal love note or poem and then framing it or make copies of it and print on nice colored or decorated paper, laminate and use as a place mat for the dinner you make him and then he can take the place mat home as a reminder of the romantic dinner and day. Cook him his favorite foods, if you can't cook, have someone else cook or do takeout and claim it as your own. It's the thought that counts.
If you are too young for dinner, do a picnic lunch in the park with the same idea. Hey, a picnic lunch is good for adults too. If you are a hiker, you can plan out a special trail where you leave little romantic clues as the two of you hike to your destination for him to find such as: I love (name) follow me to a day of romance. Next clue can be a picture you and then a picture of him and then a picture of both of you at the final destination. Make sure you put these where only the two of you see them and you guide him there.
In other words, think outside of the box and be adventurous. Most guys like adventure and food and spending time with their lady. Think of ways to combine all 3.
Good luck!

RE:
Valentines day gift ideas for my boyfriend?
Valentines day is coming up, I have no idea what to get my boyfriend! I was thinking about boxers that say I love you or something like that. He doesn't really like chocolate, so scratch that idea. I want to get him something reasonable but romantic at the same time. Any suggestions?

You could get him boxers and then just take him out to a nice restaurant to eat. OR maybe, since he doesn't like chocolate, say if he likes cheesecake, see if you can find a heart-shaped pan and make a cheesecake (or some other kind of dessert) for the two of you to share. With the cheesecake, you could use food coloring and color it pink or red.
Most guys think it's more of a woman's holiday...at least my husband is like that. I usually just get him a card and do something little and nice for him...no big deal.
This year is different for us though...we'll have our first baby about 2-3 weeks after, so I think that V-Day pales in comparison to what's coming.
As for you...just keep it simple, don't freak out about it. It's the gesture, not the gift.

A great deal of though needs to go into his personality as well as the nature of your relationship as well as the duration. My husband and I decided from we were dating that a Valentines gift would not be bought but has to be made. I have managed to come up with some pretty interesting things to make and he has written some nice poems.

If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://bitly.im/aOfLL Since you've never dated or been kissed before, it's going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don't know what to do but once you know what to do, you'll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You'll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.

cod. lol. get him some xbox thing if he has one, ask his friends for good games that he doesnt have. or if you want something kind of romantic, get him a picture frame and put a picture of you two in it. then, behind the picture but in front of the thing that holds the frame up, write a note and stick it in there for him to find in the future. its cute and he won't find it for awhile :) happy early valentines day :)

Well, that all depends, how long have you been dating, if not too long, I would scratch the boxers idea. You dont want to send the wrong message. However if it has been a while, boxers are fine. I have been married for 7 years, but dated my husband for 5 years prior to that. boxers are something I would buy him for V-day.

Get him tickets to an event, so both of you could go. An example is a concert or sports event. He will love it and you get to spend time with him out.

think of the things he enjoys(example, if he likes football, you can get him a new jersey of his fav team) or you can try giving him a back rub(you rub his back, he rubs yours....) or just simply get him something like a card. p.s I definitly know how much harder it is to shop for a boy than it is to shop for a girl) :)
