We catogorize and segreatagte our impressions of others, the more one is like ourselves the less threat, the greater the differences the greater the threat or concern. As we grow and learn and expand our knowledge we learn not to fear things that are different but our primail instinct still segregates differences and because of this we recognize these differences of race greater than when a race difference does not appear.
