I love music and I want to make a career of it, but I also want a family and be able to support them..is there any way to do both?
If I can what universities would be best.

Mike is right. That is an excellent career choice if you want to spend time with your family. You might want to consider a double major or minor in business/computer/accounting, something else to go along with your music career. Most local colleges offer a curriculum that would satisfy both of these requirements.

I would suggest then becoming a music teacher for a high school. You could attend any college that has an education program and a music program.

Good Luck!!!
